Most interview practice fails for the same reason: it rehearses the wrong questions. You can recite a perfect answer to "tell me about yourself" and still lose the room three minutes later, when the interviewer looks down at your resume and asks why you spent eleven months at a company you list in one line.

Those questions are not in any question bank. They cannot be, because they only exist in your history.

What the AI actually reads

When you upload your resume, the analysis picks up the things a recruiter notices first:

• The roles and their length. Short tenures and long stretches at the same title both raise questions, and both get asked.
• The gaps. A six-month hole in 2025 is visible on the page. Pretending it is not there is how candidates get caught off guard.
• The claims with numbers. If you wrote "increased retention by 30 percent", you will be asked how it was measured and what you personally changed.
• The one-line projects. The entries you compressed to a single line are often the ones an interviewer digs into, precisely because they are vague.
• The transitions. Every change of industry, function or seniority is a question about your reasoning, not your skills.
• The tools and the stack. Listing something on a resume is a claim that you can talk about it for two minutes.

How a session runs

1. Upload your resume as a PDF and name your target role. The same resume produces a different interview for a senior manager role than for an individual contributor one, because it should.
2. Choose a module. HR and behavioral, technical adapted to your field, or salary negotiation.
3. Generate the interview. This costs 3 credits and includes the AI work that turns your background into a unique set of questions. The interview is then saved to your list.
4. Answer out loud. You speak, the AI listens and follows up when something is unclear or unsupported. You cannot skim, edit or paste, which is exactly the constraint a real interview imposes.
5. Read the scores. Every answer is rated on structure, clarity and impact, with the specific thing to fix.
6. Retake it for 1 credit once you know what went wrong.

Reading a strong answer and saying one are different skills. Writing gives you an undo key, unlimited time and no listener. An interview gives you none of the three.

The gap shows up in predictable ways: answers that start before they have a point, stories that run ninety seconds past their ending, and the silence that follows a question you did not expect. Practicing by voice on your own material is the only version of practice that trains the thing being tested.
